COVID-19 pandemic shut down business in Argentina right in the middle of grape harvest and Condor Valley Winery faced the possibility of having to dump all our 2019 wine into the ground.
Driven by Condor Valley's land stewardship mission, we built South America’s first off-the-grid solar winery where we can craft flavorful wine in harmony with our land.
Building the first vineyard in Condor Valley and the surrounding region began with research, testing the terroir, learning the unique technique of field grafting vines, and a lot of advice from Argentina’s premier wine makers.
With the recent spotting of two Jaguarundi, a previously endangered species, Condor Valley has officially documented five species of cat on the property – a significant marker in biodiversity. They join puma, osola, Jefferies, and pompus cats in making this landscape their home.
