Who you’ll meet
Your Private Guides
The Pekarek Family will be your private guides in Condor Valley. Martin, the co-founder of Condor Valley Estate & Winery, is a native of Salta province. After raising his sons Dario and Bruno between Salta and Vienna, he has settled in Condor Valley, drawn by its animals, blossoming winery and adventure-loving guests. Our guides speak several languages, are genuinely passionate about the Salta region, and always have a local story and legend to share.
Besides your hosts, you will get to meet our horses, a lively donkey named Raul, and, with luck, spot Andean condors. Besides the condors, our biodiverse valley is also home to the endangered north Andean deer taruca, anteaters, armadillos, six species of wild cats including pumas and ocelots, wild boar, foxes, rabbits, and some 200 species of birds. We have been working to document and conserve these species and are happy to share photos we’ve captured.
“Start to finish, I was overwhelmed by this place and these people. I could not have asked for a more authentic experience, and would unquestionably recommend Condor Valley to anyone. It is truly unforgettable. ”
